I am living with my son after returning from Korea. He recently got married so I need to buy something cheap until I get my business going. I have a small pension. by digirl_154_635 from Hampton, Virginia. Apr 28th 2012

Local bank or credit union would be your best bet for financing a camper.

Contact the a local bank or credit union in which you already have accounts established with.

Even though you plan to live in it, banks consider this more like a vehicle/recreational vehicle type loan because it's not affixed to real property. The suggestion of a credit union is probably you're best bet, or the dealer who you buy it from; otherwise, you should check around for recreational vehicle financing and see what you can turn up. Best of luck to you!

First of all, you are not looking for a mortgage. This would fall under the Auto/RV classification and you would need to look to either your local bank, Credit Union or a dealership that sells them may be able to arrange financing. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z team of NOVA Home Loans ~ NMLS 40586 ~ www.LoansA2z.com
