Yes there are lenders out there that can lend with only 6 months history and other programs with an employment commitment.
There is not a standard time on job requirement. It will vary lender to lender and program to program. They will also want to know about the year prior to current employment. We are mostly looking for a stable history.
I am a mortgage broker and can get creative. I do have lenders that can do this. I am in Minneapolis and would love to talk. Let me know what I can do to help a local Minnesotan.
Your chances of getting a loan may still be pretty good. I am a local mortgage broker right in Maple Grove and I have access to 40 lenders who all have their special niche. Feel free to give me a call at 763-400-7531.
More information is needed, where you in school, in the armed forces, or unemployeed ??
For sure what you did the prior to your year of employment will play a part in getting you approved... a first time home buyer down payment assistance program might be a good fit for you! My office is in St Paul, MN, but I work the whole metro area. Let me know if I can help. Kind regards, Deb - The Mortgage Lady
Yes, Bot more info is needed
It is possible. Some thoughts that come immediately to mind 1) what were you doing prior? Working? In the same line? 2) were you in school? What were you going to school for? It is possible that we can document schooling as work history. There are no simple yes or no questions in the mortgage industry. Just give me a jingle and we can talk this through. Based upon my 35 years in the industry, you can get a mortgage with 1 year of employment. If you were in school, on unemployment or in the service, you should be fine. Give me a call at 763-519-1100. Dave Kosmecki - 35 years of serving Minnesotans.
