Ocwen purchased the bulk of GMAC loans, but not all of them.. If you are inquiring about an open active mortgage, then just look at your monthly statement.. if your inquiring about a GMAC loan that has since been closed, it's unlikely you will find any info.. this is good news if your doing a credit dispute.. Since GMAC doesn't exist, there's no way for them to respond in a timely manner to satisfy the fair credit reporting rules, which means any formal disputes with a past GMAC mortgage will likely be removed from your credit report..
