It all depends. What type of VISA do you have? Have you filed US Tax Returns claiming foreign income?

More info needed. First, if you live here in the USA legally, and have a certain type of VISA, then there are conforming loan products which might work.. But this only addresses whether or not YOU qualify.. Now, lets talk about whether or not your income qualifies.. For income to be considered, it must be reported for 2 or more years on a US filed federal tax return (1040). If the income is coming from foreign sources, then the documentation must be converted to US dollars and must be converted into English. If this is not the case, then there are portfolio lenders out there that will lend to foreign nationals, but the down payment requirements are pretty high.. Feel free to contact me should you have further questions.. I'm a preferred Lender with Arizona and California being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893

Hopefully, you got your questioned answered pretty well. For most of our standard loans we are looking to use income showing on U S Federal income tax returns. If it shows up there we likely can use it. There are portfolio loans for foreign nationals typically requiring at least a 25% down payment. I have brokered one in the past. I would be happy to provide more information in regards to that if you contact me via my profile.
