Michael is the branch manager for our Brookfield Wisconsin location; he started in the mortgage business in 2004. As a leader in the mortgage industry for many years, he's seen a lot. Michael manages all aspects of the mortgage banking process - helping his team be the best they can be - by implementing systems and personal touches that brings their business to the next level. Michael has had some amazing coaches and mentors over the years. These experiences now let him coach his clients on how to make an informed choice regarding their mortgage options.

They also allow him to coach his business partners on how to take their respective businesses to the next level. His team of loan officers also enjoy working with him as he is committed to helping them be the best they can be. Through weekly coaching - personally and professionally - he meets them where they are and helps them rise to where they want to be. His entire branch knows he cares about their success just as much as he does his own.

When Michael joined LeaderOne, he was looking for a company culture that would not only provide the amazing customer experience he was already giving his clients, but a company that make sure the employees were valued and seen as individuals. He found everything he was looking for when he made the change. Not only did he move, but his entire office later researched, independently, his move and made personal choices to do the same. Michael feels that says volumes about LeaderOne as a company, others say it also speaks to Michael as a leader.

Michael is married to his high-school sweetheart, and has two amazing kids, two large dogs and a cat named Russell. When not coaching and mentoring his clients and team, Michael can be found enjoying the great outdoors - rock climbing, kayaking, and mountain biking. Michael is also an active member of the Board of Trustees, and currently sitting Treasurer, for the Upper Peninsula Bible Camp. He went to camp there as a kid, and serves as a counselor for a week each summer.
