President's Day - Markets are closed, but an eventful week awaits us
By Kyle Chezum Updated on 9/25/2013This week will bring another round of important economic data, fed-speak, and treasury auctions. Tuesday morning will ahve the consumer confidence report and Case Shiller home prices. At 1:00 pm, the 2-year note auction results will be available and the fed speech from Kockerlakota. Later in the week, we will also get existing home sales, durable goods, new home sales, GDP, and Consumer Sentiment. There will also be the 5 and 7 year note auctions.
The bond market is obviously the market to watch to see if rates will ease or will hold steady.
