Poll: Should big Banks be sued by government for fraud?

Wells Fargo, Citigroup, Sun Trust and Bank of America are of the many settling for hundreds of millions to repay Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for fraudulent mortgages sales. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac buy billions of dollars in home loans and securitize them for investors. The 2008 crisis rears its ugly head in the news this week, as settlements are unavoidable for these banks that committed an array of fraudulent behaviors, ultimately leading to billions of bad mortgages purchased by the US government. Is this 5 year late settlement for hundreds of millions, a well-deserved and necessary discipline? Leave your comments below the poll.
