The final quarter of last year offered many opportunities for review of the financial and mortgage markets. Officials state that foreclosures have dropped off in some states, including Maine, which has seen a significant decrease in the number of foreclosures processed.
But there are still warning signs that the situation is not fully resolved. Many homeowners are delinquent on their mortgages and will likely face forclosure in the coming year.
