What You Need to Know about Credit

It's time for fresh and fascinating facts about your home purchase and the mortgage process! Now we're going to talk about credit (and the room goes silent!) Everyone is fearful to speak about it and it's one of the most important parts of your mortgage process, so let's understand a bit more about it. and hopefully you can learn some of the surprising things that can happen before you get your loan, some suggestions for helping you buy a house.
1. The Magic Number(s).
Everyone has seen the commercials about free credit score websites and you have a credit score, but it's really helpful for us to know all 3 of your credit scores.
2. Terrible Credit, Terrible!
Every so often we get message or calls from people who have been through the ringer when trying to get a mortgage loan to buy their dream home, and they have been told that they have awful credit and will never be capable to buy a house with bad credit! The truth is; there are alternatives that we can set you up with to get you back on track to buying your own home!
3. NO CREDIT; NO PROBLEM
Good credit, no problem, bad credit, no problem, NO Credit? STILL no problem. If you have yet to establish a line of credit anywhere you can definitely still buy a house! We can use what's called Alternative credit. Alternative credit is just method of establishing that you pay your bills on time.
So if you have a gym membership where you pay a regular fee, your auto insurance, your rent all can be used to establish that you pay your bills totally and on time.
4. Pay your bills!
Getting you a loan is as imperative to us as it is to you; and part of that is making certain you have the credit to get into your home. One approach to keep your credit good or get your credit out of the dumps is pay your expenses on time. That will help us help you!
