Quit Claim Form

Tuesday, August 21, 2012 - Article by: Joe LaVallie - HomeStreet Bank - Message

When you execute a quit claim deed in Seattle you are releasing your interest in real property. This is a type of deed that passes title, claim, or any interest in the property. The important item to note is that a quit claim deed does not include any type of warranty of title.

There are many instances where quit claim deeds are used: Divorce, when one party of a marriage is buying a property by themselves, and many types of business transactions. If you have any questions about quit claim forms please feel free to contact mehere.

There is another popular form that is used along with the quit claim form and that is the Reconveyance form. This form is simply a release of the lein from a deed of trust.
