If you're underwater on your Fannie or Freddie Mac conventional mortgage on your manufactured home, you may be eligible to refinance without paying down principal and without having to pay mortgage insurance.

Here are the bullet points of the government's current HARP refinance program:

HARP was started in April 2009, and is known by different names. The government calls it HARP, AKA Home Affordable Refinance Program.

The program is also known as Making Home Affordable, the Obama Refi, A Better Bargain For U.S. Homeowners, Open Access, DU Refi Plus, Relief Refinance etc.In order to be eligible for the HARP refinance program :

1.Your manufactured loan must be backed by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac.2.Your current mortgage must have a note date of no later than May 31, 2009

If you meet these two criteria, you may be HARP-eligible. If your mortgage is an FHA, USDA, VA or a jumbo mortgage, you are not HARP-eligible; however, you still have other options to refinance your underwater manufactured home loan.

If you have a VA loan on your manufactured home, you can do VA IRRRL loan or if you have an FHA loan on your manufactured home, you can do a FHA Streamline loan.We offer each of the above mentioned loan programs on manufactured homes, nationwide.
