Would you agree taht in 2013 there's need for financial retirement planner to change the definition of retirement?

Couldn't agree with you more. If there ever was a time to plan for retirement, now is the time and it doesn't even matter what age you are. Save, save save....

Would you further agree that retirement is not i-dimensional planning but 3-dimensional planning and based on 3 life events: disability, old age and death? If you agree with the 3-dimensional life events then shouldn't we be including in our definition these life events rather than only focusing on old age?

I would speak to a financial planner, these days you need to have all of the financial options available to you at your reach. Not focus on the negativity.
