The FHA 203k loan is commonly referred to as a Rehabilitation Loan. For a purchase, this is a loan that allows you money to buy a house and also provides money to upgrade or improve the home. I have done these for a home that needed a new roof, they added dual pane windows and a gut/remodel of the kitchen. Another added a bedroom and bathroom to the home. They can also be used to refinance an existing home while providing funds for upgrades. The interest rate on a 203k is just a tad higher than on a traditional ( 203B) FHA loan. In the current market, I am not aware of any lender that will accommodate a 203k on a manufactured home, sorry. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z Team of NEXA Mortgage ~ NMLS 40586 ~ Licensed in Arizona, California, Georgia, Oregon, and Washington.
