Although the customary and usual practice is for the seller to pay it, this can be negotiated to have the buyer pay it. At the end of the day, every aspect of the transaction can be negotiated for one or the other party to pay any of the costs. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z team of NOVA Home Loans ~ NMLS 40586 ~ Licensed in California and Arizona ~ www.LoansA2z.com 888-889-9950

When you purchase a home you negotiate with the seller to reach a sales price you both agree on. Sometimes the negotiations will include determining which party will pay for additional costs, such as transfer taxes. However, in some states it's customary for one party to pay certain expenses. In the state of Florida, the seller commonly pays for the deed transfer taxes.Sharon7th Level Mortgae LLC.732 606 6264

Usually the seller pays, but sometimes this is part of the negotiations between buyer and seller threw the real estate agents. Hopefully your agent worked for your best interest. 855 411 LEND
