Hi Veronica, Ryan is the only who answered your questions correctly but he did leave out a couple of important things. 1) While USDA does not have a maximum loan amount on the guaranteed loans, lenders will often cap it at the conventional limit of $417,000. I have investors that do not limit the loan amount on the USDA program. 2) While the USDA guidelines do limit the value of the land to 30% of the overall total value, there are exceptions to the rule.
