My loan was never ran by USDA, but the lender I spoke to said they would deny me because I had 11 inquiries (for some reason, the car dealership I purchased a car from sent my info to that many lenders). My credit score was 623 due to those inquiries, and I do have medical bills in collections. However, I make over 2500/month and am never late on payments and am working on fixing my medical bill issue. Are these reasons USDA would deny me or is it just that the lender denied me and didn't want to forward my info on? She pushed for me to try an FHA, but the 3.5% down payment is a struggle as single mom. by brieaw206 from West Plains, Missouri. Aug 19th 2016
You should get a second opinion. USDA guidelines are USDA guidelines, but some lenders are more willing to work with potential buyers. We have a specialized USDA department at Movement Mortgage. You can find more information at www.movement.com/sara.deere.
I am sorry to hear that but he is doing that because he probably is not familiar with how to do USDA Loans.
