There's no way to tell unless we know all the details of your scenario.. are you purchasing or refinancing? Which loan product, FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional? How much / percentage down payment do you have? What price range / loan amount?? Why is your score so low? Income, credit, derogatory credit, debt, debt ratios, assets, reserves, etc.. so much info is needed above and beyond a credit score that it's near impossible to say what you would expect with a 622 score.. if you want to take the guess work out of your quest for a mortgage, then the best advice I can give you would be to contact a LOCAL mortgage broker and apply with them. Do not use the local "Big" bank, or one of those 50 states internet lenders or nationwide lenders...By applying with your LOCAL Broker, you have an advantage because he's familiar with local customs and works with numerous lenders, seeking out the best loan terms for your particular scenario. Because he has lower overhead, he can offer you lower rates and lower fees than most of the larger lenders.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. Depending on your situation, your rate may be higher than if your score were higher, or it may be no different. I agree with the initial comment that it is a good idea to speak to a broker, however, I would advise that you ALSo speak with a bank lender. The reality is that there are times when one type of entity will offer you a better deal and times when the other will offer you a better deal. No one is the best for every individual, in every situation, every time. Make sure you explore a range of loan programs as well as a range of mortgage providers. I am always happy to assist whether I work on your financing or not; So if you need more information, a pre-qualification, or a competing rate quote you can go to my web page and use my live support button to discuss or get advice on anything at all with me. Hello Housier, spent 7 years in Elkhart before moving here. To quote a rate a lot more info will be needed because there are many variables. It could be as low as around 4.5-4.75 depending on the amount of fees you pay and other variables. Let me know if I can help. pdumouchel@primelending.com

Higher than someone with better credit... if you can get approved at all. Depending on the program, it might be as much as 1/2% higher than someone with a score over 740.
