What refinance options are available for jumbo loans with high LTV?

Well, there's several options, but you might not like them... you also didn't provide enough info to properly advise you, so without knowing how much your loan amount will be, and if this is your primary or 2nd or investment home, then we'll have to guess... If you have VA benefits, then you can use VA financing, and there is no maximum amount, so you would be able to refinance providing the lender allows for "High Balance VA Loans". If you are a Doctor, Lawyer, CPA, Architect, or Dentist, then there's a lender that will allow for 100% financing. You must be employed in the qualifying field. Since most lenders want 80% LTV or lower, you can also pay down your mortgage to get to the allowable LTV for the lender.. We have lenders that will go to 85% LTV, but it's based on credit score, DTI, and loan amount, so it's hard to say if you would qualify based on the limited info you provided.. Hello GEmery. It may be possible, but it's not likely. Some small specialty/local banks might offer a 90% LTV product but, gererally speaking, the max allowed on a Jumbo loans by most lenders is 80%. If you're in a position to do so, you could pay your loan balance down to $417K so that you can qualify for non-Jumbo programs. Other than that, make sure that your property value and LTV figures are as accurate as possible, but this might just be a situation in which you'll need to wait for property values to increase and bring your LTV back within typical Jumbo lending guidelines. Check with a local mortgage broker. They usually have access to most of the country's lenders and should be able to help you find a loan.
