What programs are available in North Dakota to get a loan for the property PLUS extra amounts for renovations to the home?

I'd like to purchase a fixer-upper and have approximately $40,000-$45,000 to improve on the house with one monthly payment. Thank you! by trinityrichards14187 from Medina, North Dakota. Sep 16th 2015 Reply

Depending on your credit scores, there are 2 programs.. FHA 203K rehab loan is one way, and the other loan is a conventional loan called the HomeStyle renovation loan. If you have good credit scores, your better off with the conventional route. There is no upfront mortgage insurance fee, no consultant fee's and you can do what ever you wish to the property without limitations other than the overall improved value has to appraise. With FHA, it's expensive and there are limitations to what you can do to the property.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. The most popular loan for buying a home and getting the money to fix it up all in one loan is an FHA 203k loan. For 203k loans in MN, WI, and SD, visit me at www.JoeMetzler.com/203k
