Hello Heather.w864, having disability income does not preclude you from any types of loan programs. Your credit score, debit-to-income ratio, and funds available for down payment will determine which loan programs you qualify for. Please give me a call at (623) 396-6855 to discuss further.Sincerely,Julio Zapata
Permanent disability can be used to qualify for a mortgage, no problem, Temporary disability income will present an issue for qualifying.
Income is Income.. the source does not matter so long as it will continue for at least 3 more years. If so, then we can count it as income.. understand that you will still have to meet all other eligibility requirements to secure a mortgage.. If you wish, i can review your complete loan scenario and give you direction.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. You can use disability as income to qualify. Would be used just as if you had a job working for a company and earning wages ever pay period. The key is if it is short term disability or long term. Main qualification is for it to continue for 3 years. Talk with a qualified mortgage broker that is licensed in Arizona. And you have a great source with William acres right here on Lender 411. We are both #1 lenders in our own home states. Give him a call.
