FHA always requires at least a 3.5% down payment. However, this can be from gift funds from a family member, or even an employer. There are also down payment assistance programs available. I would check into any Housing Finance Authorities in your area that may offer down payment assistance. Cities are also utilizing federal grant funds in many cases to promote home ownership in certain areas.
The minimum down payment FHA requires is 3.5% of the sales price of the home.
FHA minimum down payment is 3.50%. That money can come from you, a gift from a relative or employer, or from a state, city, or community down payment assistance program. www.JoeMetzler.com
The minimum down payment required by FHA is 3.5% of the purchase price. Often times there are Down Payment Assistance programs and Grant programs designed to help people like yourself.
The minimum down payment for FHA is 3.50%. However, you may qualify for a local down payment assistance program to help if you don't have the full 3.50%. I would contact a local lender who is familiar with HFA's like http://www.tsahc.org/. There may be others too. Best wishes, Sean
