Most investors/banks will require a minimum score of 640, but some investors will go as low as 620 with ample reserves. Since conventional loans are market priced based on risk, you should work on getting your scores higher to improve the interest rate you are eligible for and to lower the PMI premiums. Getting your score to 680 could save you nearly a half percent in the interest rate and cut the cost of your PMI cost by 20%. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z team of NOVA Home Loans ~ NMLS 40586 ~ Certified by the National Association of Mortgage Professionals and Licensed in California, Arizona and Washington ~ www.LoansA2z.com 888-889-9950
