Closing costs on a USDA Rural Development loan are the same as any other loan. It depends on loan amount, and escrows for taxes and insurance on the house you are buying. How you pay them is also just like any other loan. You can pay cash out of pocket, roll it into the loan amount, roll it into the interest rate, or an combination of all of them. Contact a USDA loan expert in your area go get an accurate quote. In MN or WI, visit www.MortgagesUnlimited.biz/USDA

This question cannot be answered with out more info.. When it comes to closing costs, some fees are "Fixed", meaning whether you purchase a $100K home or a $300K home, the fee is the same.. other fees are variable, and are a percentage of the loan amount.. For example, USDA charges an upfront "Guarantee Fee" of 2% on every loan. If your purchase a $100K home it's $2000, if you purchase a $300K home it's $6000. This fee can be financed, but it's in addition to all your other normal fees.. How much all the fees would be varies from state to state, lender to lender.. if you want an accurate quote, contact your loan officer and have him put together a "Initial Fee's Worksheet". This way, there's no guessing or surprises..
