In some cases you can get a lower down payment depending on your FICO score and income level. There isnt much rate advantage as you are subject to the same rates and terms. The exception is that you must take a short online home counseling program otherwise it is pretty similar. Call me to discuss your options!
Hi, You may have access to down payment assistance or grants that non-first timers wouldn't. Let me know if you would like a first time homebuyers guide on buying or any info! I am glad to help. Aundrea - info@aundreabeach.com 702-326-7866
The primary difference is possibly qualifying for down payment assistance programs. Those programs are subject to income limitations as they are targeted for low to medium income earners. Can be difficult to stay under that limit in Orange County. Feel free to contact me to see what programs would best fit your needs. 562.254.5616
Certain states (California is one of them) will have special grant programs which can assist borrowers in the purchase of their first home.. Typically, these programs have income limits, so not every one will qualify.. Also, for Financing options, you can go conventional with 3% down vs. 5% for everyone else.. and depending on where the property is located, you might be able to get reduced monthly mortgage insurance as well. If you are looking in CA.. i'd be glad to assist.. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893
