Each reporting agency tabulates scores differently. Auto lenders use one agency while mortgage lenders look at all 3 scores and use the "middle" score for preapproval purposes.

The most accurate credit score would be the one your mortgage lender pulls when you apply for a mortgage.. everything else cannot be considered... only the credit report that your lender pulls can be used.. (fraud prevention).. Scoring models vary depending on what "Type" of credit you are applying for.. when applying for a car, a credit card, or a mortgage.. each one will give you a different score, even if pulled in the same day..
