I would suggest you seek legal council. The rights of the lien-holder may supersede your current lease agreement and you could be forced to vacate the property. But this is a legal matter and an attorney may be better equipped to answer your questions. My name is Elden Lewis with Guaranteed Rate in Indianapolis, IN. If you need any further assistance please feel free to reach out to me at 317-225-4868. https://www.guaranteedrate.com/eldenlewis http://www.indianapolismortgageguy.com/

Every state has different laws regarding tenants rights.. Here in AZ, you would get a 30 days notice to move, and if you don't, then you get evicted, which takes about 3 weeks.. if you still don't move, then they get the sheriff out to the property and he physically removes you from the premises.. You should check with your local government agencies to determine what your rights are regarding a hold over past a foreclosure for a tenant.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
