What happens if there an error on the mortgage?

Not sure that the error is, but you usually sign paperwork at closing that says you agree to sign any paperwork missed, or resign updated paperwork to correct any errors. I lend in SD ND MN WI IA. Find me at JoeMetzler.,com - NMLS274132

It depends on the nature of the error. Some errors MUST be fixed prior to executing the loan documents. These would include things like the wrong loan amount or wrong interest rate. Others can be fixed after the fact.
