Hi there. You need to open up a few credit cards and one small installment loan. Keep the credit cards under half the credit limit. Do this for 12 months before repulling your credit. At that point you should be in good shape to purchase a home as long as your assets and income are in good standing.Jake B

Neither of you have a credit score? Have you ever had credit? You said that you fixed your credit, what do you mean by that? You might be able to find a lender who can take non-traditional credit. You would need to provide a little more information about your income and your credit history. Have you been renting for several years, and can verify it with cancelled checks? Also you can use on FHA financing, a non-occupant co borrower. What state are you in?

The best thing if you havent had credit in a long time is go get a small credit card and a secured credit card from your bank. Wait three months, and I can pull your credit. If you have cleaned and repaired old issues, this should give you a score we can work from. Everything is automated so once we pull credit it doesn't take long to pull a automated approval to see if you qualify or if not what we can do to help you improve your credit rating and get into a home. Thanks and would love to help you through this process.
