what about workers comp, is it considered income,reason I was out of work for 5years and couldn't return

Generally, Workers comp is treated as short term income and not considered in the qualifying income equation. If you are currently a W2 paid employee, it shouldn't matter. If you are now self employed, it will be difficult to find a lender that will treat this as part of your self employed income.
