I have had great experience with helping people in a "less than perfect" credit situation. Our company is also able to complete a VA loan with credit scores as low as 620. Please email me your contact information and we will discuss your specific situation. kiernan.brown@huronvalleyfinancial.com
Hi Joshua,I'm a lender in Texas and as Kiernan stated below depending on your credit we can go as low as 620 on VA loans, if your scores are lower then that we can advise you on what to do to get the scores up and within the eligibility criteria. I'm available 24/7 if you'd like to discuss further at 214-499-0010 or danielchoudhury@eaglehm.com. Thanks.
Hi Joshua; The 1st thing you should do is check with a local lender who can help you with your credit- If your score is below a 640, your objective would be to getyour middle credit score to the 640 or greater. Pricing is better- Hope this helps,Thank you for your service
The first step is to contact a qualified local loan officer and have he/she review your credit with you. They will be able to look over what you have and determine if you qualify now or if you need to fix some things in order to qualify in the near future. There are some great loan officers to choose from on here. From the home page click the far right tab called Community and then Find a Lender. Best wishes,
Sean and Pete gave you some great advice. Saying your credit isn't the best is not enough information. You need to know what your exact credit score is in order to know what steps to take to improve it if necessary. Consult a local Lender and he can pull your credit and let you know what you need to do.
Regardless of what type of loan, getting a home loan requires you to have proven yourself worthy of a lender taking the risk on you. The biggest piece of the pie for lenders to look at is a credit report. How do you handle credit? Do you pay your debts in a timely fashion, etc. If you have bad credit, you need to start taking the time to fix it, and show that you are responsible. Your credit didn't get bad overnight, and sometimes it will take awhile to fix. I suggest talking to a loan mortgage broker first. Let them look at an application and credit, and then follow their instructions. One thing for sure, if you do nothing, nothing will change. If you do something, something will change. Do something about it today, and you'll be buying a home sometime soon. Good Luck
Joshua - what does "isn't the best" actually mean? Please elaborate........... Andrew
