VA EEM Refinance for solar

I've talked to the VA and they will support greater than $6,000 for a solar project, as long as the appraisal increases at least as much. Does anyone out there know of any lender in Michigan that will actually handle a large solar project? I've tried most of the national banks and they all stop at $6k if they will do VA EEMs at all. by michae_769_765 from Jackson, Michigan. Aug 18th 2012 Reply

Call all the lenders listed on this site. You can find them by searching in "Find a Lender" tab. Call until you find someone who will do it.

Your problem is you started with the big national banks. You will want to work with a local Mortgage Banker/Broker, rather than one of the big banks or big national mortgage factories. Unlike a bank employee, who is most likely just an order taker, a Mortgage Broker/Banker is Trained, Tested and Licensed in all aspects of Mortgage Origination. We have access to loan products of many lenders, not just those of one bank, and can properly guide you. But more importantly, we are trained to take a look at the various different options available to you and guide you into the one that makes the best sense for your situation. If you are looking for a great Loan Originator, The National Association of Mortgage Professionals has many very qualified Loan Originators. You can find one that serves your area at www.NAMB.org Click the Find a NAMB Broker tab and select your state. Members adhere to a strict Code of Ethics which benefits the consumer. Don't forget to check out your selected Mortgage Originator at the National Mortgage Licensing System at www.NMLSConsumerAccess.org ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z team of NOVA Home Loans ~ NMLS 40586 ~ www.LoansA2z.com 888-889-9950
