There are several reputable companies that can increase credit scores. I have successfully used Team USA Credit Repair. My contact is Jeannie Mok. Her # is 614-774-5027. They only charge for accts that are deleted or restored. If you call her, please tell her Pat McCarthy at Stonegate Mortgage gave you her info. Good luck. By the way, Stonegate is able to do loans in NC once your middle score is over 619.Pat McCarthyStonegate Mortgage Corp614-310-7520

You need to fix the bad credit and you need to open other accounts to show "Good" credit.. Credit counselor's don't help you repair or open new accounts.. They help you manage accounts you currently have, so there's no help for you there.. You need a credit repair/restoration company to help you out.. there are tons of these companies out there so do your due diligence and check out the company before you hand over any $$.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

Ultimately it takes positive, recent credit to offset old items that are paid off. If you don't have any or much open, active positive credit it may take a while to see your score improveConsumer Credit Counseling Service: Normally offer counseling and direction in addressing credit issues - suggest you clarify whether they are a local based, charitable organization. Find an agency serving your area at: http://www.nfcc.org/FirstStep/firststep_03.cfm or call 800-388-2227.Other sources of HELP (paying for it): Cleaning up old credit issues, especially collections and charge offs, some of which may have been sold repeatedly from one company to another, can be long and time consuming, and it is important to follow up on challenges in a timely way. There are companies that offer assistance but they charge a fee. I can provide some names if you wish, email me at pdumouchel@primelending.com

first of my friend do not take any advise from any individual about how to increase your credit. Barely anyone is credible now a days. Loan officers may have info but it changes from day to day. Go to a real credit repair company that has a background on helping you fix your credit. No one can do it for you remember that. The basic thing is to not have judgements or collections because they hurt your score, but you can recover it. The credit companies score you on how well you obtain and maintain credit. In other words if you get a line of credit for somewhere how often are you late? i kno you said you dont have credit cards but thats an example. one way to get your score up is patience. scores don't go up overnight (in most cases) there are many more factors that go into your score that i am neither licensed nor experienced enough to tell you. just be careful with companies that tell you they can fix your credit and get your score up in as little as 2 months cause ive seen people get scammed over that stuff. good luck
