Underwriter has requested letter explaining my connection to an address. What do I need to provide?

You will need to provide a short letter of your connection to the property.

Your loan officer should have advise you how to write this letter, but in general, type a "To whom it may concern" letter and state whether or not you lived at that address and if you did, between what dates.. if you never lived there but you know of the address (Parents home, old boy/girl friend's place, etc..) then explain how you know the address... Just need to provide a short statement in letter format of your tie to the address, family, friend, etc and/or if you resided there...or if you have no connection and it is error state so.....good luck!!
