Told I can get appraisal waiver by Fannie Mae. Help/and questions.

Can someone tell me the criteria for appraisal waiver? My loan is owned by Fannie Mae. by psharpe961 from Washington, District Of Columbia. Mar 6th 2019 Reply

It's totally up to Fannie Mae if you get the waiver. You won't know until who the lender is you select to work with runs your loan through their systemI'd be happy to work with you to see if you get the waiver. I can give you an idea if you would or not based on some info but their is no guarantee

Obtaining an appraisal wavier is not automatic.. The waiver is given when the file meets certain underwriting standards and then run through the Automated Underwriting System (AUS).. Every loan is different.. but in general.. if you have superior credit, lots of cash in the bank, and you are doing a rate and term refinance at a low Loan to Value (LTV).. then you might get a waiver. If you are doing a cash out refinance, then the file will most likely require an appraisal. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / LendUS, NMLS 1938/ AZMB0121893

A PID (Property inspection waiver) is not something we randomly decide on. When we run your information through Fannie Mae's computer, the computer decides if and when you can get a PID. Generally only very well qualified clients get them... and it doesn't happen very often. All a lender can do is run the application and see what happens. I lend in MN, WI, and SD.
