Unfortunately, you should have tried for that financing before filing the CH13 - I double you'll find a lender who will be able to help you with a standard mortgage. Most have requirements for NO BK for at least 2 years, if you are in a CH13 you would need 12 on-time payments to possibly qualify for a FHA loan. Good luck!
BY FILING , a chapter 13 bk , has elimated any new loans.. if it was only filed 2 weeks ago, I assume that you have not met with the trustee at court. that usually takes over 1 to 2 months.. IN a chapter 13, your lawyer can propose to the trustee that you need to reduce your monthly payments, on mortages, cars, creditors that is what a chapter 13 is all about .. what size of a loan are you looking at ? i might have one way to solve it for you.. it will depend if you are behind on your mortgage payment or not ..
Sorry my friend but you will not be able to get refinance at this time.

Not gonna happen... For any type of conforming financing, you need to have paid 12 on time payments to the trustee, and then you might be able to refinance assuming you meet all other eligibility requirements.. but a fresh BK 2 weeks old?? The only source that might be available to you would be hard money, and even they will shy away from lending to someone in a BK.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. Because of the recent bankruptcy, it is all but impossible to obtain a conventional mortgage. However there may be other options. We have a program available for just such situations, but are not licensed in PA. Take Dave Metsker up on his offer to help you. There probably is a solution for yor situation.
