You can generally refinance with any mortgage company you wish. I would recommend to shop around a bit and compare rates with other lenders vs. your current lender. There is no need to have them all run your credit report. Any lender can give you a rate quote as long as you have an idea as to what your credit score may be and you can also provide your scenario (current loan amount, type of property, estimated value, etc.).

If you want to work with a midland mortgage representative I am sure you can refinance with them. You can speak with any mortgage professional in your area about a refinance though.

It is possible. You would have to contact Midland Mortgage to find out. Yet, if you are interested in refinancing, I would suggest that you shop around for the best scenario for yourself. I can definitely help you explore your options. As a NC licensed mortgage professional (more specifically in the Raleigh area), I am local to you. Check me out on my website, www.mortgagewithchad.net, or send me an email to chad@mortgagewithchad.net.

Generally speaking, your current lender will offer refinance services. With that said, rare is it that your current lender is the best refinance choice. Almost without fail, you will find a better deal using someone else. This is because they know some many people think it is easier using the current lender. It really isn't, but because you think so, and don't shop elsewhere, they are able to get away with refinancing you at a higher rate than you generally get in the open market. If you contact then, just be sure to shop with others too.

Possibly.. Some lenders only service loans and they do not originate new loans.. But if you contact your existing lender, they should be able to answer that question.. But regardless if they do or not, you should shop around to see what others are offering.. you might get a better deal by switching lenders.. .. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
