Yes, it doesn't have to be your primary residence, as long as your loan is owened by Fannie Mae or Freddie mac, and originated and delivered to them before the cut off date June 1, 2009Thank You
the new HARP 2.0 does allow refinancing of investment properties... but your loan must be owned by either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac... WilliamAcres.com
This is correct and if you don't know for sure if it is owned ny either ( many people don't) you can call your current mortgage lender or go to the corresponding website and punch your address in.
You can refinance a home with Harp 2 even if it is not the primary residence. The first step is finding out which investor has your loan you can look it up on the following links http://www.fanniemae.com/loanlookup/ for fannie mae www.freddiemac.com/mymortgage/ for freddie mac.Of course like the others said below your loan had to have been originated prior to June 2009.We would be happy to answer any questions for you at either www.delinefinance.com or you can call 888-279-5427
Although the final rules have not been rolled out. Non-owner occupied properties will also be eligible. Bert Carpenter ~ The LoansA2z team of Nova Home Loans. NMLS 40586 www.LoansA2z.com
From what we understand is, if it was your primary residence and owned by Fannie or Freddie beofre June 1, 2009, you will be eligible..
