Hello, me and my wife are looking to refi out of our FHA loan. We are about 75% LTV and have mid fico scores of 690 for me and 740 for her. Is there a chance to refi out of the FHA and into a conventional so we can drop the MIP FHA charges? by mario720 from , California. Oct 21st 2020

Great scores like yours should easily allow you to qualify for a conventional loan without Mortgage Insurance. Rates are near all-time lows, so now would be a great time to refinance I'm Licensed in California, so feel free to reach out to me. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z Team of NEXA Mortgage ~ NMLS 40586 ~ Licensed in Arizona, California, Georgia, Oregon, and Washington. There is a chance, many of my recent customers have had success conventional even some with much less equity than what you mention (even less than 20%). Also as anyone ever told you about an appraisal waiver for conventional loans? Greg Bleyl NMLS 117969 (216) 496-0211
