Hello, I was curious to know how long does FHA require you to be on your job

Tom, we can do an FHA loan after only one month on the current job. We will need two years of job history (at previous job) and/or education. Please give me a call (316-259-5862), shoot me an email (mpurkey@primeres.com) if you have additional questions. Or you could go to my website (www.mykansasmortgage.com/mpurkey) and click on the Apply Now button. Take care, Mike

One month is pretty standard, with at least one paycheck, but a work history for the past 2 years is also needed with w-2's etc for all jobs.

Rule of thumb is 2 years. But there are several situations where a shorter period than 2 years combined with other employment or school for that 2 year period would be OK. Get Pre-Qualified with a Local Lender, preferably someone referred by a Friend, Family or your Realtor.
