We go down to 560 on VA loans, however, you will need a down payment. We can reun a credit simulator (free of charge to you) to determine how to raise your scores, and give you a better rate for a VA loan. Let's discuss your loan scenario in more detail. Contact me at 800 315 8803. My name is Bart and I have been offering loans since 1987. I am happy to answer your mortgage questions, 7 days a week and review your loan scenario. Until then, I look forward to hearing from you. Bart Gabe - Lending Nationwide Since 1987 800 315 8803 www.bartprequalifies.combart@bartprequalifies.com

Hello Nora, To Get a VA loan you'll probably need to get that FICO to a 620. You're not too far off and I work with Military Families all the time in your situation. I'd be glad to discuss your situation and how to get you into a home as fast as possible. Nora, I agree with Henry, most lenders are going to want to see 620 credit scores. The good news is that it isn't typically that difficult to raise a credit score from 570 to 620. There are probably some strong factors bringing the score down that can be corrected and have the score up and ready to buy a home within 6 months or so, depending on where his profile is now. Talk to a reputable mortgage person, have them pull credit now and then advise you and your fiance where to go from here to get into the qualifying range.

You need a 620 score.

That score is very low, and will be very problematic for getting any loan whatsoever. I suggest not bothering at this point trying to get a loan, and instead, work on credit repair. Once you get the score up, then apply for a home loan. www.VA-IRRRL-Loan-MN.com
