There's a lot of support for it, but there's a lot of problems with the program as well.. if they can make some changes to the program, it's possible it will come out.. stay tuned!! .. I'm hearing that Congress is leaning away from Harp 3.0 because the FHFA (the FHA) is losing money. These non-Fannie and non-Freddie loans that are underwater would be bailed out by the government (FHA) which is already DEEP in debt! Congress is afraid to bring on more and more debt....I believe tho that the US Gov and FHA should help non fannie and freddie home owners because the Gov is already spending $80 billion a month on US Treasuries to try to keep rates low...Write your Congress rep and have your voice heard!
