It really does depend on what time of loan you are looking for. Is this a purchase or a refinance? Did you know there are specialty programs out there for first time home buyers and underwater homeowners? Give me a call at the office and ill help you find more specific answers to your question. 763-400-7531

Purchase transaction using FHA or conventional, 30 to 45 days. USDA can take up to 2 months, Refinance transactions can take 3 to 4 months depending on loan product...I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

Minnesota refinances take three weeks with our bank, it doesnt matter if it is conventional, FHA or USDA. Also, don't pay any attention to anyone that try' to persuade you not to use a national lender, the size of the bank has more to do with how fast the process takes rather than the location. Loans close just as quickly if the borrower is one block away or 1,000 miles away.
