HUD 184 Loan

My company was trying to get set up to do these a few years ago, but, to my knowledge, we never got a response back from the HUD office about our application. Unfortunately, I don't remember the names of the lender sources I found to do these. However, I was told at the time that no Utah based lender had been approved to do these, yet. I suspect it's because it's not a common request in Utah. It's one of the best programs most lenders have never heard about. Most of the lender sources you'll find are headquartered in Oklahoma or South Dakota, however. I believe you'll find several of them can do these loans in Utah, even if they aren't based here. For the moment, I would direct you to contact the Bank of Oklahoma, or 1st Tribal Lending. At 1st Tribal, you can contact Juel Burnette, 605-610-0106.
