There are a number of variables that you need to consider. Your credit is one since you want to make sure your scores are good and there is nothing reporting that could cause you problems when you are ready to buy. You also need to consider how much money you will need for down payment and/or closing costs. I would suggest speaking with a lender sooner rather than later to help put you in a strong position to purchase when you are ready to move forward. You may even be able to purchase sooner than you think if that's an option. Let me know if you have any questions and best of luck!
Hi,Without knowing your present qualifications,no loan officer can effectively advise you about your plan. I meet with borrowers regularly at 12 months out from their intended buying date. This is the best time to get yourself in front of a licensed loan officer who can help you map the path to home ownership. The day you find the home is the very last day you should be applying for a Mortgage. Successfully negotiating your home purchase will require knowledge, experience and confidence about your qualifications. Preparing for home ownership well ahead of time will make the process far more enjoyable and stress free.IF knowledge is power, then being well informed will empower you when the time comes for you to execute on your home-ownership plans!Hope I've helped. Happy 2018...hope your plan has you sitting by a warm cozy fire at your home by this time in 2019!Ron
The earlier the better.. once a lender looks at your complete profile, then they can advise you. .if you have any issues that need to be worked out, you would have plenty of time to do so.. but if you wait last minute, then you might miss out on that perfect home.. . I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893
