It depends on the program, but understand that just because you have an acceptable score does not guarantee you will get financed. Lenders look at many different things when determining borrower eligibility, the credit score being just one of them.. Although you can find lenders who will go as low as 500, understand that the lower the score the more strict the guidelines and few that apply actually get approved. Also, if you have a Foreclosure, BK, Short Sale, Judgments, Charge offs, Collections.. you could have a 750 credit score, yet you still might be denied.. If you want to know for sure, then take 15 minutes and call a local mortgage professional.. let them look at your complete loan profile.. only then will you know..
