You should not have any trouble whatsoever with getting financing. Unfortunately, we are not licensed in California at this time. Good luck!

The waiting period is up to 4 years from date of discharge, so as long as you have reestablished credit and have had no late payments since the discharge; you should be fine.

More info needed, but the short answer is yes.. Conforming guidelines require a 4 year waiting period if you had a BK.. You will need to meet all other eligibility requirements such as minimum acceptable credit scores, debt to income ratios, and satisfactory income sources, but so long as you meet the requirements, you should be ok.. Understand that if you had a home/mortgage included in your BK, then we would need to know the details to determine if you would need to wait 7 years vs. just 4.. but assuming no mortgage was included in the BK, then the 4 year mark is the mandatory waiting period.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
