Bradley, A home appraisal is required on all transactions. A home inspection, while encouraged, is not required on all USDA loans. If you need anything else, feel free to contact me.Thanks,Dennis W ClarkFreedom Lending402-333-5432

Bradley, Home Inspection is your choice. An Appraisal always. Keep in mind that you should look into a termite inspection, Radon Test, Septic Inspection, Well Test if its a Single Family Residence. Call me if you'd if you'd like to go over all of your lending options in detail. Thanks, Keith Reilly PRMG, Inc - Paramount Residential Mortgage Group, Inc(201) 788-2368 Keith@KeithReilly.com

The home inspection is optional and you can chose not to have one completed. The appraisal is required to verify that the property is worth what you are paying for it.

The inspection is optional, but HIGHLY recommended! If you are tight on cash it is acceptable for the seller to pay your closing costs and prepaid expenses (first year insurance, setting up escrows, etc) at closing - but you'd have the expense out of pocket before then.

More info required. An appraisal is required.. no exceptions.. and the appraisal is aa form of inspection, but it's not the same as a full property inspection that looks for all defects... Although it's not required by USDA, it is advised you get one.. paying $400 to $600 today could save you the expense of a costly repair in the future.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
