We would like to include both of our income on the loan. by gretchen88790 from Pensacola, Florida. Dec 4th 2015
An ITIN number is a tax processing number issued by the Internal Revenue Service. ITINs are issued regardless of immigration status because both resident and nonresident aliens may have a U.S. filing or reporting requirement under the Internal Revenue Code. Loans are only given to people legally residing in the county.
As Joe said, SSN's and ITIN's are basically the same in the sense that they identify you when it comes to reporting income to the IRS.. the real question is "is your husband here legally, and if so, what type of visa does he have, and how much time is left on the visa" or does he have a permanent residency card.. (Green card). If he is a permanent resident, then he is required to have a SS#.. but if he is here on a visa, he must have at least 3 years left before it expires to obtain financing. If he's here illegally, then no.. he cannot get financing.. and the only way to include his income is to have him qualify for financing.. so without knowing his residency status, we cannot advise you properly.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. We offer ITIN loans nationwide. You would need at least 20% down and be able to document at least 2 yrs of employment (with Tax Returns and W2(s)). You would also need credit established through the ITIN #.Feel free to contact us at 800 315 8803 to discuss the loan program further or go to www.bartprequalifies.com
Unfortunately we would need SSN's for both of you.
