How recent was the HAMP Michelle? Any idea what your credit score is?
I believe it is possible but the details do make a difference
Thanks for the info. Was it a rate reduction or was the balance (principal) reduced? Also, your info says you are in Indiana - is that true? Are you still living in the property? Borrower currently employed? pdumouchel@primelending is direct contact email.
Never heard of it personally...and not enough information...
Hi Michelle;Your loan officer of choice would need more information to give you a correct answer to your question. How long has your loan been modified, do you still live in the property, etc....inbox me at pete.bass@everbank.com for more information.
Yes it's possible.. typically, the lender will make you wait 2 years, and you must have no late payments in the past 12 months.. Also, if your HAMP included any principal reduction, it's likely you will not find any lender willing to do it.. Another issue you might have is doing a "Streamline".. I personally have never come across this, but if your original loan was FHA, and you did a HAMP modification, then you might not qualify for a "Streamline" Refi.. you might have to do a full up "Rate and Term" refinance which would include an appraisal, and supporting income documentation..
