Qualifying for a home loan?

I have been a student and only have worked part time for the past 2 years. I have a student loan of about 15,000 dollars. I have medium credit. Now I will be graduating and working as an RN so my pay will double and I will be working full time. Would I qualify for a home loan of about 40,000 for a condo? Do they look at your current pay or do you need 2 years of good pay? by becka3_783 from Fresno, California. Jul 28th 2011 Reply

Depending upon the loan program, you would get credit for the time you were in school as if it were previous work history, and your income would be calculated on your current pay. Good luck!
